Pints of Lucky Saint

Our Cosy Pub Guide

Cosy pub season has officially arrived. Darker evenings call for pints by the fire and pubs with plenty of character. We asked our team for their favourite places across the country to share a pint this autumn. Here's where they're heading.

The Cricketers, Sarratt

The Cricketers has all the charm of a countryside pub and overlooks the village green. We recommend a golden pint of Lucky Saint seated next to the big open fire.

The White Hart, Lewes

A 16th-century inn in the heart of Lewes with views over the South Downs National Park. Don’t forget to leave room for dessert and enjoy their Pistachio Soufflé if you have a sweet tooth.

The Prince George, Hackney

A proper Hackney local with plenty of personality. Pairing classic pub charm with a few eccentric touches, there’s even a games room if you’re feeling competitive.

The Kings Arms, London Bridge

An escape from the bustle of London Bridge. This family-run neighbourhood pub is an ideal location to congregate after work, or a stop after a walk along the river.

The Fishes, Oxford

Tucked away in North Hinksey and surrounded by acres of woodland, The Fishes is the perfect escape from the city. Come for a wander through the woods and stay for a pint by the fire.

Good Companions, Brighton

Clue is in the name. Good Companions is the perfect spot for bringing a few mates together in the heated garden area for a round of Lucky Saints.

The Bulls Head, Mobberley

Log fires, good food and the Cheshire countryside on the doorstep. This traditional village pub lives up to its ‘local and proud’ motto. We recommend the Steak & Wobbly Ale Pie off their seasonal menu.

The Lord Tredegar, Bow

Among the Victorian terraces of Bow, The Lord Tredegar brings old-school charm to an East London local. Famous for their big Sunday roasts that pair perfectly with a pint and enjoyed next to the open fire.

The Highdown, Worthing

On the edge of the South Downs, this is one to bookmark for an autumn day. Explore Highdown Gardens before heading inside for a pint of Lucky Saint.
