Hallertau Hops & Pilsner Malt Hallertau Hops & Pilsner Malt

Grown in Germany.

Hallertau Hops & Pilsner Malt

Grown in Germany.

Hallertau is the main hop-growing region in Germany. We use various classic Hallertau hop varieties for bitterness and modern aroma hops for hints of citrus.

We use a malted barley grown locally to the brewery - the malt is named ‘Pilsner’ after the town of Pilsen, where pale lager originated.  Very pale in colour, it delivers a golden coloured beer with a light toasted and fresh bread flavour.

Spring Water & Lager Yeast Spring Water & Lager Yeast

Spring Water & Lager Yeast

Brewed with local Bavarian spring water, that’s low in mineral salts, it’s perfectly suited to showcase the sweet biscuity malts and sharp hop bitterness.

We use a classic German lager yeast in our beer. The yeast is pitched just once to ensure the cleanest and most consistent beer.

Six Weeks
To Brew.

The entire brewing process takes six weeks from start to finish, and it’s more than worth the wait.

ICON/UNFILTERED 2

Unfiltered for Maximum Flavour.

Golden in colour, our beer has a light haziness because we leave it unfiltered. This retains maximum flavour and body, without the alcohol.

Vacuum Distilled
for Maximum Flavour

The last step of the process - the alcohol is gently removed from our beer using vacuum distillation – a process that reduces the evaporation point of alcohol, thereby allowing the removal of the alcohol without affecting the delicate flavours.
