This time of year, there are few better ways to exercise than a big bike ride followed by an ice-cold lager. It's no coincidence that lots of Lucky Saint drinkers are also keen cyclists - alcohol-free beer is said to be naturally isotonic, meaning it replaces the minerals lost through sweating and makes a great post-ride refreshment.
From scenic city loops to strenuous cycles, read on for some Great British cycling routes that end with a celebratory lager.*
