Nestled in the 15th century market town Thame, Petra and Kevin opened BeerGinVino just last November, in a quirky Hatchery building on Bradmoor Farm. Go for a hand-picked selection of the best of UK craft beers, ales, Artisan gins and wines, and ask Petra or Kevin to tell you more about what you’re buying - everything is sourced locally and comes with an interesting story.
This little shop in Sheffield Moor Market is known for its fantastic range of beer, cider and mead, and was a finalist in the SIBA Best UK Independent Craft Beer Retailer Awards 2020. Owners Deborah and Sean champion vegan and gluten free beers, along with an expanding No and Low section with Lucky Saint leading the way.
Hops & Boogie was born from founder Simon's two great passions - beer and records. This sleek new bottle shop, tap room and record store located in Sale, Manchester is home to drinks from around the world, with a focus on the North West of England, along with an eclectic range of vinyls. When possible, Hops & Boogie will be hosting monthly sets from artists playing vinyl, so we’ll see you there for some beats and beers.
With a whole section dedicated to local breweries, 12 Ounce Bottle Shop is Crouch End’s beer mecca where locals can discover what’s been brewed in the area. Alex and Greg took the plunge last year, quitting their city jobs to launch a new business. The couple love to taste and test all styles of drinks and keep up to date with exciting producers. The no and low alcohol range is quickly becoming their best seller - look out for Lucky Saint and expect a warm welcome from David the dog.
Brockley’s Salthouse Bottles brings South East Londoners a curated selection of beer, cider, wine & spirits, plus store cupboard staples and local produce, including freshly baked bread, Borough Market-made jams and artisan cheeses. It’s run by food and drink dream team, Richard, Ross and Charlie, all with backgrounds in the industry - beer buyers, coffee shop owners and butchers. You’re in safe hands at Salthouse.
Clare and Owen launched this Holloway-based bottle shop and tasting room after travelling all over the UK, Europe and North America to broaden their beer horizons. Their main inspiration came from the American beer shops that emphasised the customer experience, encouraging people to hang out, explore new beers and take their time tasting. Indiebeer is a nod to the couple's favourite brew shops around the world, so stick around to chat to them about all things beer.
If you're driving through the North East and stop at Westhill Service Station, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find Hop Shop - a bespoke beer store with the best brews from local to global. This family-run independent petrol station is now a destination for beer lovers, thanks to its rotating list of breweries and a growler-filling station for freshly poured takeaways.
