Your Autumn Pub Walk Guide
The best autumn walks end at the pub. Here are five of our top spots with trails nearby where you can end your walk with a refreshing pint of Lucky Saint.
The Strines, Nightingale
Overlooking the Goyt Valley in the Peaks. The Strines is half an hour away from Manchester Piccadilly. We recommend setting off on the Lyme Park Circular before looping back for a pint. Expect regular live music on the weekends.

The Queens Arms, Cornwall
Set right on the South West Coastal Path, this spot offers stunning sea views and nearby dog-friendly beaches. Take on the Twirl of the Cape Walk, then return to The Queen’s Arms to warm up by the fire.
The Sherborne Arms, Cotswolds
For a scenic route follow the Sherborne Circular, a 6.6 km route through open fields, quiet woodland, and historic castle grounds. Nearby you'll also find Sherborne Estate and Lodge Park, a National Trust site dating back to 1634.
The Mutton, Hook
Bordering Hazeley Heath, The Mutton sits among open heathland and winding forest tracks. Try the Ambling Path for a route across heath and woodland. There’s a playground along the way for little ones, and a Lucky Saint waiting for you at the finish.

The Hand in Hand, Wimbledon
The Hand in Hand sits on the edge of Wimbledon Common, making it a perfect meeting spot before a Sunday walk. Stop in for a roast after your loop. Dogs are welcome here too.
