The world has a drinking problem. And our mental health is being negatively impacted.
We're committing to championing better mental health in the workplace and beyond and are proud to announce our official partnership with Mental Health First Aid England.
Our Founder Luke and MD Emma were the first to take the Mental Health First Aid Training. To say it impacted them is an understatement, they knew immediately it was essential to train the wider team, so that's what they did - all of the Lucky Saint team are now MHFA trained.
Now, we're moving on to training hundreds of professionals across the food & drink in Mental Health First Aid, helping MHFA England to achieve its mission of training 1 in 10 people in Mental Health First Aid skills
As part of our commitment, we've hired Harry Corin as our Mental Health Champion. Harry is an official ambassador for MHFA England and a certified Instructor.
"The training will teach those in attendance how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing mental health issues, and provide the attendees with the confidence to listen, reassure and respond to those individuals."
"I'm proud to join the amazing team at Lucky Saint – together we will make a real difference to the lives of thousands of hospitality and retail professionals and the businesses they work in, leading the way in championing good mental health."

From bartenders to area managers, business owners and beyond, the Lucky Saint MHFA England partnership will create hundreds of mental health first aiders who will support the people around them - both professionally and personally, creating a huge ripple effect across the country.
As a result, thousands of people will receive better mental health support, stretching much further than the hospitality and retail industries.

The correlation between poor mental health and alcohol consumption has been well documented, especially during 2020. Statistics from Alcohol Change UK show that 50% of UK drinkers have admitted to turning to alcohol for mental health reasons during the pandemic.
Lucky Saint Founder, Luke Boase, said "At Lucky Saint, we believe the greatest reward of drinking is the social connection, not the alcohol. Whether you're enjoying a drink at the end of a long shift, or out with friends, I created Lucky Saint to provide a great tasting and refreshing alternative to alcohol. And in doing so, better supporting our mental health.'
